Palm oil refining: 
1.Filtration: The purpose of this step is to remove the granular impurities in palm oil.
2.Degumming: Pumping crude oil into oil refining tank, stirring quickly, and simultaneously heating by steam or heat-transfer oil(in coiled heater). Then add some hot water. You should control the water amount, temperature and water adding speed. If phospholipid lasts long suspended in oil, which is hard to gather to make flocculent precipitate. We can rise up the speed of adding water, conversely slow down. At the meanwhile, adding alkali to remove the FFA. For the batch type and semi-continuous type refinery, they will adopt precipitation separation method, continuous refineries will adopt centrifuge separation method.
3.Decolorization: Inhale definite amount of decoloring agent(floridin or acticarbon)into the oil, continuously stirring and heating for 25min. After that, pump the mixture of oil and floridin into filter to separate oil and floridin.
4.Deodorization: Pump and heat decolorized oil, when oil temperature reaches above100℃, injecting the direct steam to take the odors away. We can get refined palm oil, which is edible at this step.
5.Fractionation: This is very important process in palm oil refining, But before this step, we have get edible palm oil, in another word, if not for special usage, this step could be cancled in palm oil refining.

Refinery palm oil process is mature technology in China. The purpose of refinery palm oil process is to removal the impurities to meet the standards of edible oil. And the refinery palm oil processes are: crude oil ---degumming bleaching---deodorization---fractionation. Steps of refining process of palm oil are as follows:

First, put the crude oil into oil refining tank, stirring quickly, and simultaneously heating by steam. And then add the hot water. It is the most important stage , you should manage the water amount, temperature and water adding speed. At the same time, alkali is added to remove the FFA.

Next, Inhaling the definite quantity de-coloring agent (active clay, active carbon) into the oil by vacuum, then they are continue stirred and heated for  25mins. After pumping the oil and clay mixture into vibrating filter to remove the waste clay, the de-colorization is finished.

After the decolorized oil pumped to the deodorization pot or the deodorization tower, it’s begin to heat. When the temperature reaches above100℃, the direct steam is added to take the odors away.

After all of these, the palm oil should be cooled in vacuum cooling tank. When the temperature is nearly 80℃, it can be transferred  to another  container, then we got the refining palm oil.

After the refinery palm oil processes, the refining palm oil have different kinds of usages. It is edible oil, and also can be used for other purposes. It is widely used in food manufacturing and production, and the other 10% of the palm oil is mainly used in soap and oil chemical production. Besides, refining palm oil can also be used to make soap, vegetable oil, and other types of products.

The introduction of palm oil production process；

1.Raw materials storage section: Fresh palm fruit bunch must be first measurement recorded by the pound into the plant, then unloaded to loaded fruit slopes and stored.

2.Sterilizing section: fresh palm fruit bunch are airtight sterilized in sterilizer. The purpose to prevent enzymes broken down, avoiding FFA content in oil further increase; easy threshing machinery; pretreatment peel, prepared for the follow-up processing; pre-conditioning stone, reducing the damage kernel.

3.Threshing section: The purpose of threshing is the oil palm fruit be separated from the fruit bunch through strong vibration, Threshing equipment is revolving drum thresher. The oil palm fruit separated be ejected then into the press section. Empty fruit bunch be ejected to the yard from the other side of the revolving drum, or shipped out from the plant as palm orchards slipcover to recycling use, or burning in the locale as fertilizer for agricultural land.  

 

4.Pressing section: Oil palm fruit first carry out cooking before pressed, fruit sterilized must be re-heating for the soft pulp, and damage pulp cell structure. Then enter into continuous screw press for pressing. Oil palm fruit pressed is divided into two parts: oil, water, solid impurities mixture and the press cake (fiber and nuclear). Oil, water, solid impurities mixture by the crude oil gutter inflow to oil purification section; press cake by breaking screw conveyor into the fiber- recovery section.

5.Clarification section: Machine-pressed crude oil first diluted with water washing, through settlement and filtration, the fiber material removed from the oil, and then carry out continuous settlement, the whole divided into two parts: oil and sediment. Oil by centrifugal separation and through vacuum drying pumped into the storage tank for storing; oil sediment by filtration and dirt oil separation, oil process second settlement, dirt oil mixture process clarification separation, Skim oil then carry out a second settlement, sewage pumps to sewage treatment pond for dealing with.

6.Fiber separation section: Press cake broken by breaking screw conveyor and then transported into the fiber separation air net and fiber polishing roller for fiber separating. The fiber material separated are sent to the boiler room as fuel; the stone separated are transported to stone warehouse by pneumatic conveying system for temporary storage.

7.Kernel recovery section: the stone needs intenerate tempering before being broken, the intenerating stone be divided into two or more petal by corrugated crusher, kernel was released. The broken mixture enters into broken mixture separation system; separation system adopts two stage separation and water separation. After separation, shell is sent to the warehouse for temporary storage, as boiler room fuel when necessary; the moisture content of separation kernel falls to below 7% through the hot air to dry. Dried kernel is sent to kernel storage warehouse for storing.

8. After getting the crude oil, the palm oil refinery and palm oil fractionaction is used to get the higher quality oil. The palm oil refinery is used to move the impurities in the crude palm oil. The function of the palm oil fractionaction line is to sepaprate the olein and stearin.

1. Palm oil mill equipment of fruits receiving: 
 Collecting the ripe fresh cluster from the orchard and convey by trucks, then pour the fluster into the discharge door after weighed by ground weighed . The discharge door has discharging channels, the upper and lower switches of the iron gate are controlled by pneumatic, Pneumatic control system consists of air compressor and pneumatic control devices. Start the control valve to open the gate of the discharge door, then the palm fruits will fall into the fruit basket car or conveyor.   
2.Palm oil mill equipment of sterilizer: 
 Fresh palm fruit bunch are airtight sterilized in sterilizer, injecting direct steam (the pressure is 300KPa) to heat 60mins. The purpose is to prevent enzymes broken down, avoiding FFA content in oil further increase.

The purpose of threshing is to separate the palm fruit from the FFB. The drum type thresher is the usual machine to separate the fruit. The separated oil palm fruit is sent into the pressing section. Empty fruit bunch be ejected to the yard from the other side of the revolving drum, or shipped out from the plant as palm orchards slipcover to recycling use, or burning in the locale as fertilizer for agricultural land.

 There is also the steam heater in masher. The purpose of mashing is to separate the pulp and nut and crush the palm pulp. At the same time, the steam is used to cook the palm fruit and broke the cell of pulp. Because of cooking, sterilizing, threshing and mashing made the pulp soft and damage pulp cell structure, the palm pulp becomes soft and cell is broken. Then it is sent to continuous screw press. After pressing, oil palm fruit is divided into two parts: the mixture of oil, water and solid impurities, and the press cake (fiber and nut).

Product Description
1. Palm fruit Storage
 Measuring fresh fruit bunches by wagon balance, after measuring, fresh fruit bunches will be stored in the slopes for fruit.
2. Palm fruit sterilizer
Put FFB(fresh fruit bunches) in the sterilizer to sterilize palm fruit bunches in a closed tank. The function of sterilizing is to inactivite fatty enzyme to prevent AV(acid value) of palm oil increasing further, which also makes bunches easy to thresh, prepare for the subsequent processing, and to reduce the breakage of kernel 
3. Palm fruit Threshing section
The purpose of threshing section is to separate palm fruit from bunches by strong vibration,  revolving drum thresher. The oil palm fruit separated will then be sent into the pressing/milling section.
The empty fruit bunches will be ejected to the yard from the other side of the revolving drum, or shipped out from the plant as palm plantation slipcover for reusing, or burning in the locale as fertilizer for agricultural land.  
4. Palm seeds pressing/milling process 
The palm fruit will be sent to continuous palm oil screw oil. Palm fruit pressed is divided into two parts: mixture of oil, water and solid impurities, cake (fiber and nuclear). The mixture of oil, water and soid impurities inflow to clarification section though oil pipeline; cake is sent to fiber-recovery section by breaking screw conveyor.
5. Crude Palm Oil Clarification section
Crude palm oil extracted from palm fruit is seperated from the mixture by water washing, settlement and filtration, removing fiber from crude palm oil; and continue settlement, the mixture will devide into 2 parts: palm oil and sediment. Palm oil is centrifugal separated and sent into storage through vacuum drying pump, while  sediment devide into sewage and dirt oil mixture, sewage will go to sewage pool and achieve further recycling, and dirt oil mixture will achieve another clarification.

1. Raw materials reception and storage

1. Sterilizing section : The function of sterilizing, known as stewing in high temperature, is to avoid the deterioration of fruit. This section can avoid the increase of palm oil AV by stewing the fruit about 60min with 300kPa steam in a specialized sterilizer.
   
2. Threshing section:The palm fruit proportion is about 60% of the FFB. In this section, we always use rotating drum thresher to separate palm fruit from the bunches.
3. Crashing :The purpose of crushing is to destroy palm skin, separate the palm pulp and nuts, pound palm pulp and to damage the cell structure of palm pulp by heating at the same time, which avail the latter pressing section.
4. Pressing :In crude palm oil processing, screw oil press is common equipment we use, the outcome of which is mixture of water, oil &residue and press cake (fiber cake).
5. Crude palm oil :Separate the fiber from the mixture derived from pressing by subsidence and filtration, after continuous subsidence we can separate oil and precipitate. With another filtration and vacuum drying, the oil is just crude palm oil as we say
